OK so Veg Out was pretty amazing right? It was a bit different to our usual gigs on a lot of levels (the food!) but we’re back to our usual gigs in time for the YOUTH ANTHEMS FIRST BIRTHDAY PARTY! That’s right it’s been a year already, don’t they grow up so quickly?
So for our first birthday as well as all that you expect from us (cake, three amazing bands between 1:30pm and 4pm, free for Children, at Wharf Chambers, more cake) there will also be stickers, balloons and the lovely addition that is the fact that every penny that comes in through the door (so feel free to let us keep your change!) will be going to St. Gemma’s Hospice in Leeds. All of the bands have kindly waivered their costs so all the cash goes to an amazing local charity. I’m also going to be running the Leeds City Centre 10K and Great North Run this year for St. Gemma’s so feel free to point and laugh at my clearly un-ready frame for running when you see me on the door!
